Vivian finished up her first week of Kindergarten! She was feeling much more confident and spent the weekend practicing things she had learned throughout the week. Ahhhh ... how to maintain that motivation for the next 12+ years? :) Her teacher sends out a newsletter every Friday, which talks about what they learned that week, things to practice at home, a few vocabulary words & a section to thank students for anything that may have happened during that week that deserves to be highlighted.

Here is the note in the the newsletter from her teacher;
"Vivian, Thank you so much for doing your best work and for caring about your classmates. Your kind spirit has helped make others feel comfortable in their new surroundings."
I only cried a little ...... ;)
